This Wisconsin native leads the Joyride band on their extensive US tour.
Hagen was active in the Eau Claire music scene, beginning in the early 80’s through the 90’s with groups like the Hurricanes, the Mark Thompson Band and Big Fun.
He has shared the stage with such notables as The Romantics, America and Ray Sawyer of Dr. Hook.
Hagen is currently bringing the music of Joyride to the delight of audiences in Canada and the United States.
Drums and Vocals
Chance started his drumming career at the early age of 3... as a young toddler pulling out the pots & pans. With his parents’ encouragement and wooden spoons, he would ‘bang’ for many hours... much like he does now, but more advanced.
During his school years, he played in many school bands and garage bands. Later, with the influences of Tommy Lee, John Bonham, & Ringo Star.
He went on to star in many Fargo-Moorhead area bands including Baby Grand (Sassy Jones), The Bryce Niemiller Project, Silverado and Tonic Five.
He has a love for 80’s rock and classic country.
Guitar and Vocals
Paul began playing guitar at the age of twelve, offending all with his out of tune high-pitched sonic collages of white noise... not much has changed since then.
He’s played in such bands as the Barking Spiders, The Hellcats, Scene of the Crime, Shake Naked, The Wobblies, and many other popular favorites.
He fancies petite women and telecasters, shies away from cancer sticks, and adores the hot and spicy cuisines of the world.
He hopes one day to complete a seventh album and a first feature length film.
He listens to Mastodon, The Lonious Monk, and Jascha Heifetz.
