SUBMITTING YOUR MEDIA:


If you would like to submit your media (video & photos)...

    use the following guidelines...


  1. Capture your media...  use digital cameras to capture your video & photos...  INAPPROPRIATE CONTENT WILL NOT BE USED


  2. Save your media...  use a personal computer to ‘import’ your video & photos from digital cameras using the camera’s RAW format... 


  3. ~ your photo camera and computer will ‘import’ the photos in the

  4.     appropriate file format such as...  “.raw”, “.jpg/.jpeg”, “.tif/.tiff”


  5. ~ your video camera and computer will ‘import’ the video in the

  6.     appropriate file format such as...  “.mpg/.mpeg”, “.mp4/mpg4”


  7. What ever the format...   DO NOT CONVERT THE FILE TYPE


  8. Package your media...  use your computer to ‘package’ the media for submission...  copy the media files to an empty folder; ‘right-click’ the folder & select the ‘compress/archive’ command to create a “.zip” file


  9. Submitting your media...  use your computer to ‘e-mail’ your “.zip” file...  use your e-mail software to create a new message to...

  11. be sure to ‘attachment/enclosure’ your “.zip” file; also include the date & location the media was captured


  12. IMPORTANT NOTE...  if you have a large quantity of media files...  you may encounter problems sending your e-mail message...  some Internet service providers limit the size of e-mail messages that may be sent through their systems...


  13. ~ you may need to create smaller “.zip” files with fewer media files,


  14. or...


  15. ~ you may need to ‘burn’ your media files to a CD or DVD for

  16.     submission directly to a band member
